Of the 114 children referred for photographs in 2005, 40% have attained positive results! To date, 13 children have finalized adoptions, 11 are placed and awaiting finalization, and 19 have prospective adoptive families identified or expressing interest.

Nationally, tracking in just 6 states has confirmed adoptive placement of 500 children, due to their participation in the Heart Gallery project. 5 children have been adopted by their photographers.

The SCHG website logged over 39,300 individual visitors in the last 13 months, at an average of 97 visitors per day - a fourfold increase since the same period last year! 2 direct inquiries per month were received from families seeking to adopt.
